The exact date of Van Gogh's arrival in Yokohama is still uncertain. Searching through the records is time-consuming, thus an estimated date of arrival will be assigned after a bit more research. Through intense meditation, it has been found that his original sailing was from Hong Kong to Nakasaki where there was a substantial Dutch settlement. Because of Typhoons, the port for arrival was changed to Yokohama.
